GHG Data Complete checked
GHG Data
Comments
Other Staff
Comments
BOCC & CFE Review Data and Notes
Overall Comments
from HRC (BOCC
Report)
This project includes targeting underserved and low-income residents and
informing them of energy consumption, developing community organizers
and community education
Concerns:
The applicant talks about targeting a specific census tract, which is good,
but the program as a whole can be for anyone. One thing that would be
good to add is a certain percent going to that specific area.
There is intention here to reach those community members to reduce
usage. It doesn't sound like it is derived by community request, so there
may be issues with adoption by the community and while the kits seem
helpful and it could end up not actually benefitting the intended
communities. is there a high demand for these kits from communities of
color or low resource now? Is this a project in search of a need?
This doesn't really address the actual modifications to the house that might
be necessary in response to these audits. Is there a pathway to solutions,
especially if we are talking community members with limited resources.
Recommended
Application
checked
CFE Recommended
Funding (enter $0 if
not recommending)
29145
Application Ranking 4
Overall Comments
from CFE Meeting
(BOCC Report)
Carefully thought out project with good metrics to measure success.
Applicant is well suited to carry out the project and the costs are relatively
modest. Community outreach and partnerships are positive features.
Education and monitoring are part of lowering energy cost/uses. Simple
concept that targets low and middle income residents. Short turnaround
time (6 months-year).
Notes for Applicant
Contracting
Award Amount
(Format as follows:
$XX,XXX.XX)
$29,145.00
Does this applicant
have a W 9 and EFT
in the system?
Yes
Docusign Envelope ID: B7F69C66-F314-4506-B393-F26F9CEC96B0
