How many
people will benefit
from your project in
one year? (This is
the same number
from row 8 in the
D16 table above)
611
D35b. Please
describe how you
arrived at this
number. (200 word
limit)
Staff expect the program to directly benefit 246 households. Staff
estimated this number by estimating that each energy audit kit would be
checked out ten times annually - used by 30 households to find information
related to their home’s energy use. In addition, we expect the 10 members
of the training cohort to personally work with 10 households in their
neighborhoods. W e will also ask each cohort member to host one
workshop, and hope that these 10 workshops would reach at least 10
additional households each. The energy audits will benefit 25 households.
W ith a total of 255 households with an average of 2.24 people per
household, this project will reach approximately 571 people. In addition, the
10 cohort members and 30 college students will receive training from the
Town, bringing the total amount of people benefitting from the project to
611.
D36.
