Please <br />describe one to three <br />key partnerships/ <br />collaborations that <br />add the most value to <br />the success of the <br />proposed project. <br />(250 word limit) <br />Preserving Home, Inc and Hope Renovations perform home repairs and <br />can provide guidance to staff for many aspects of this program. In <br />discussions with our partners, they identified that energy audits are a <br />substantial barrier for many residents who want to move forward with <br />energy efficiency upgrades or retrofits on their homes. This program will <br />have a substantial return on investment by targeting and eliminating this <br />barrier and helping to familiarize residents with options for reducing energy <br />use in their homes. <br />D30. How many <br />Orange County <br />residents are <br />employed by your <br />organization? <br />169 Orange County residents are employed by the Town of Carrboro. <br />D32. W hat project <br />materials will be <br />purchased from <br />sources within <br />Orange County or <br />North Carolina? <br />W hat percent of the <br />total materials do <br />these represent? <br />(200 word limit) <br />Members of the cohort will be Carrboro residents, and the energy audits <br />will be performed by a company local to the triangle area. In addition, <br />marketing funding will be spent locally within Orange County. These items <br />represent 76% of the project budget. Other items, such as the equipment <br />for the energy audit kits, will be sourced locally if possible. <br />D33.
