(150 <br />word limit) <br />Trees for the Triangle has a strong track record of delivering tree planting <br />and giveaway projects on time and within budget. <br />Tree + Seedling Giveaway: Sponsored by a local insurance company, we <br />successfully organized and executed a drive-thru style event that <br />distributed 132 seven-gallon trees to residents. W e have also sourced, <br />potted, and distributed 1,071 seedlings at community tabling events across <br />the Triangle. <br />Residential Tree Planting: Since our founding 8 years ago, we have <br />implemented our Pay-W hat-You-Can model, which includes an online <br />request form, site assessment, collaborative species and placement <br />selection, and coordinated planting with volunteers. This model has <br />resulted in 2,223 trees planted to date. <br />Both initiatives demonstrate our ability to secure funding, engage <br />volunteers, manage logistics, and meet project deadlines, while delivering <br />measurable environmental and social benefits to the communities we <br />serve. <br />D25.
