EXHIBIT “B” <br />Scope of Services – FY 2025-26 <br />Outside Agency Performance Agreement <br /> <br />Agency Name: Marian Cheek Jackson Center <br />Program Name: Learning Across Generations and Northside Neighborhood Initiative <br />Funding Award: $57,500 <br /> <br />Outline how the agency will spend Orange County’s funding award. <br />Expense Description Amount <br /> Salaries: Director of Education <br />$10,000 <br /> Salaries: Director of Housing Justice (NNI) <br />$27,500 <br /> Salaries: Community Advocacy Specialist (KYHAH) <br />$20,000 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Program Services <br />Outline the critical services (activities) the agency will employ to attain the Anticipated Outcomes below, by June 30, <br />2026. <br />● Deliver in person and virtual Oral History and civil rights education workshops and intergenerational <br />educational tours for K-12 youth in Orange County <br />● Develop and distribute learning materials with dynamic activities based on local, civil rights, and oral <br />history that are adaptable for incorporation into local classroom curriculums <br />● Facilitate "Keeping Your House a Home" estate planning workshops connecting residents with <br />housing preservation resources and information <br />● Coordinate critical home repairs and conduct home repair advocacy to ensure that elders can age <br />safely in their homes <br />● Organize a network of attorneys and volunteers to provide free Will and Testament and other end of <br />life documents to elderly residents throughout the County <br />● Distribute critical Property Tax assistance to low-moderate income residents that prevents the displacement <br />of elders, families, and long-time residents <br />● Facilitate community land banking- allowing resident leaders to acquire properties that are at-risk of <br />becoming student rental investments and create permanently affordable housing <br /> <br /> <br />Orange County Strategic Plan Priority Identified in Application.
