Nursing Home and Adult Care Home Joint Community Advisory Committee—Jackie <br /> Podger. Their quarterly meeting is tonight at Seymour and will cover the past quarter's visits <br /> and going over those notes. They are currently a committee of 10 and 14 is the maximum. <br /> They have received several applications, but applicants have not been reaching out after <br /> Learning of the necessary 32 hours'training needed to be on the committee. <br /> 18. Friends of the Passmore Center. No reports. <br /> 19. Friends of the Seymour Center. No reports. <br /> Jeff shared his worry of public health recommendations, including immunizations, and how <br /> that could affect senior's health now and in the future. It could be a priority for the <br /> Community Support& Health Services MAP workgroup. Joanne, Dan, and the group had a <br /> discussion about the new food pyramid. <br /> Estella shared she has been working with 15 or 16 seniors looking for jobs. Prior to the <br /> holiday, things were slow, but she is now getting more response for employers- optimism is <br /> higher. She hopes to report 4 to 5 people having new jobs at our next meeting. <br /> Adjournment <br /> Next meeting: Tuesday, February 10 from 1-3 p.m.—Passmore Center <br />
