How is that put in place for maintenance <br /> Longterm? <br /> o Answer: one cardinal rule is to not make it too complicated. Might be an acre <br /> or two that they mow every 10 days in the growing season. Trails every spring, <br /> a work crew of neighbors needs to trim back the branch and clear the path. <br /> Bridge, every ten years replace. <br /> o Don't like private roads- requires quite a lot of private money put into the <br /> account every year so that by the time you need to repave that road, you have <br /> a huge account with enough to draw from. People just don't do it. lien <br /> authority unless you pay our dues in arrears. Don't make it too complicated! <br /> o Avoid private road situation <br /> o Someone in the family will really enjoy the benefits and will be willing to <br /> volunteer to help <br /> o Community comes together and has a picnic and a work day every year on <br /> the same day to build community and maintain the space <br /> o Activity that binds them but isn't too onerous <br />
