GATAWBA VALLEY 19 <br /> ENGINEERING&TESTING <br /> Relevant Experience <br /> Odom Bennett Dam, Forest City, North Carolina <br /> June 2025: Performed a limited subsurface exploration and geotechnical engineering evaluation for <br /> design and construction of a new chimney drain at Bennett Dam (State Dam ID: Ruthe-027). CVET's <br /> scope of service included advancing five (5) Hand Auger (HA) borings, Dynamic Cone Penetrometer <br /> (DCP) testing, installation of two (2) temporary stand-pipe piezometers, preparation of boring logs and <br /> boring location plan, evaluation of the encountered subsurface conditions at the site, and preparation <br /> of a geotechnical report. <br /> Moravian Camp Lake Dam (Laurel Ridge Camp and Conference <br /> Center), Laurel Springs, North Carolina <br /> December 2024: CVET performed a subsurface exploration and geotechnical engineering evaluation to <br /> provide recommendations for design and construction of the repair of Moravian Camp Lake Dam. The <br /> scope of work included ten (10) soil test borings, installation of three (3) permanent piezometers, <br /> assessing the condition of the failure area and gathering field measurements for use in developing the <br /> stabilization solution and develop drawings for downstream slope repair of failure area. <br /> i, <br /> J , <br /> Longleaf Golf Course Dam, <br /> Southern Pines, North Carolina <br /> November 2025: A subsurface exploration was performed, <br /> and preparation of Geotechnical Data Report was completed <br /> for the Longleaf Golf Course Dam Repair project. CVET's scope <br /> of services included advancing four (4) Cone Penetration Test : — P; <br /> (CPT) soundings at the site, collection of two (2) Thin-Walled <br /> Shelby Tubes and Direct Push Samples at selected locations, <br /> preparation of sounding logs, soil laboratory testing, and <br /> preparation of the geotechnical data report. 16i <br />
