GATAWBA VALLEY 20
ENGINEERING&TESTING
Relevant Experience
Lake Toxaway Dam, Lake Toxaway, North Carolina
2022 — May 2025: Performed multiple subsurface explorations and prepared geotechnical engineering
evaluation reports for each exploration completed at the Lake Toxaway Dam. CVET's overall scope of
services included advancing over thirty (30) soil test borings and CPT soundings. CVET performed NQ
wireline Rock Coring in three (3) locations and installed eleven (11) permanent automated vibrating
wire piezometers.
Lady Marion Dam, Marion, North Carolina
2022 — October 2024: Performed a subsurface exploration and geotechnical engineering evaluation to
determine the stability of the current dam and the structures immediately adjacent the dam. CVET's
scope of service included ten (10) soil test borings and five (5) CPT soundings. CVET worked with
Withers Ravenel and Terracon Consultants on determining the stability of the site. The stability analysis
resulted in determining the dam was in imminent failure and a decommissioning plan was generated.
1-10 Bayway Reconstruction, Mobile Bay, Alabama
July 2025: CVET provided Dilatometer Testing (DMT) and Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) from a shallow
draft barge in Mobile Bay, Alabama. Dilatometer Testing was performed at eighteen (18) locations from
the barge and CPT testing was performed adjacent to the DMT locations at the eighteen (18) locations.
The CPT data and DMT were presented in tabulated and graphical formats.
MOP
mow., Oyu —
