The Evaluation Panel has reviewed all responses and recommends <br /> moving forward with Catawba Valley Engineering and Testing, PC for the following <br /> reasons: <br /> 1. Catawba Valley Engineering and Testing, PC scored the highest collective/average score. <br /> 2. Catawba Valley Engineering and Testing, PC has the most experience of all respondents with <br /> performing geotechnical drilling on dams located in North Carolina. <br /> 3. Catawba Valley Engineering and Testing, PC reflected staff availability and relatively fast <br /> turnaround(i.e., 7-10 days) for completion of the work. <br /> NOTE: Catlin Engineers and Scientists is Orange County's second choice as most qualified respondent. <br /> Orange County will reach out to Catlin Engineers and Scientists for contract negotiations if initial contract <br /> negotiations with Catawba Valley Engineering and Testing, PC are unsuccessful. <br />
