A 2,000 car parking deck is located adjacent <br />to the transit stop, and sites for additional parking decks are <br />provided between the corporate office buildings. <br />A town square surrounded by retail buildings is planned at <br />the transit stop. On the western edge of the. precinct provi- <br />sion is made for multi-family residential buildings. <br />Approximately three million gross square feet of building is <br />proposed for this precinct supported by 7,700 parking spaces. <br />The central precinct is envisioned as a traditional neighbor- <br />hood development, with a grid network of streets and a <br />town center at the heart of the property. The linear precinct <br />is axially organized around three public spaces: a crescent <br />shaped public space, a recreational park, and a linear park <br />that begins at the transit bus stop along the dedicated bus <br />lane. Research, retail, and residential buildings are organ- <br />ized around these public spaces, and parking decks are <br />buried within the blocks to minimize their impact on the <br />pedestrian-friendly environment. <br />Central Preciuc: i",r: <br />
