She said CHCCS is putting together a <br /> 9 study group to discuss closing an elementary school. <br /> 10 Commissioner Greene asked if it is due to homeschooling. <br /> 11 Commissioner Bedford said it is due to birth rates; the children don't exist in the district. <br /> 12 Commissioner Carter said they are hearing a lot about housing gaps, and folks not being <br /> 13 able to live in the districts. She said they should keep that in mind when discussing the land use <br /> 14 plan. <br /> 15 Commissioner Bedford said CHCCS does not lose too many children to charter schools, <br /> 16 but OCS does. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 <br />
