18 <br /> Animal Control <br /> • We currently have: <br /> o Animal Control Manager (1 ) <br /> o Training and Lead Officer (1 ) <br /> o Senior Animal Control Officer (1 ) <br /> o Animal Control Officer (5) <br /> • Our officers work 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. during the week and respond to emergencies <br /> afterhours and on weekends. <br /> o Most animal concerns can wait a business day. <br /> o If we were to respond to non-emergency calls on weekends, we would need <br /> additional staffing both in animal control and in the shelter, as more staff would <br /> be needed to intake incoming animals outside of normal operating hours. <br />
