Revised 01/24 <br /> <br />NORTH CAROLINA <br />CONTRACT AMENDMENT <br />ORANGE COUNTY <br /> <br /> <br />THIS CONTRACT AMENDMENT (“Amendment”) is made and entered into this 14th day of March, 2026 by and <br />between ORANGE COUNTY (hereinafter referred to as “County”) and Murray’s Landscape Maintenance and <br />Horticultural Services, LLC (hereinafter referred to as “Provider”). <br /> <br /> <br />WITNESSETH: <br /> <br />THAT WHEREAS, the County and Provider entered into a contract dated March 14, 2025, (hereinafter the “Original <br />Agreement”), for the provision of services for Maintenance and Landscape Services at Orange County facility grounds <br />locations; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County and Provider desire to amend the Original Agreement while keeping in effect all terms and <br />conditions of the Original Agreement not inconsistent with the terms and conditions set forth below. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual covenants and agreements made herein, the parties agree to <br />amend the Original Agreement as follows: <br /> <br />1. Section 4a is amended to reflect a term of March 14, 2026, to March 13, 2027. <br /> <br />2. Section 5 is amended to reflect a maximum payable not-to-exceed amount of $244,100 ($116,550 for March <br />14, 2025 through March 13, 2026 + $127,550 for March 14, 2026 through March 13, 2027). <br /> <br />3. Attachment 1 is replaced in its entirety by Attachment 1a (attached). <br /> <br />4. Appendix A, Category 2 is amended to include grounds maintenance and landscaping services at 2700 <br />Homestead Road, Chapel Hill. <br /> <br />5. Except for the changes made herein, the Original Agreement shall remain in full force and effect to the extent <br />it is not inconsistent with this Amendment.
