No supporting documentation was provided with this appeal. <br /> Evidence submitted by the county representative: <br /> • The subject property is a 0.50-acre tract improved with a 1,480 square foot single-family <br /> residence located at 408 N. Hassell Street in Hillsborough. The appellant states that the <br /> dwelling sustained damage during a recent storm. However,no supporting documentation was <br /> provided with this appeal. <br /> • The County visited the subject property for physical verification purposes and photos. Staff <br /> also reviewed a sales analysis of recently sold C-graded homes within the subject's <br /> neighborhood. As a result,the appeal was heard based on <br /> the evidence the appellant submitted. After the meeting,the appellant contacted the Tax Office and <br /> informed the Tax Office that she did not remember that her appeal was scheduled for January 28,2026, <br /> and asked that the Board reschedule her appeal, if possible. On January 29, 2026,the appellant's request <br /> was presented to the Board. The Board agreed to rescind the decision from December 28, 2026, and <br /> allow the appeal meeting to be scheduled for a later date onlf the appellant intended to present new <br /> evidence to support the appeal. The Appraiser contacted the appellant and confirmed that it is her intent <br /> to present new evidence, so the appeal meeting has subsequently been rescheduled for February 4, 2026, <br /> 2 <br />
