DRAFT

Lamar Proctor: I am going to, in my discretion, decline to give that since there does not appear to be any
members of the public.

AGENDA ITEM 6: CHAIR COMMENTS

Lamar Proctor: As to chair comments, I just would say that the Board of County Commissioners seems to be
taking note of attendance requirements for all the advisory boards, so I just remind everyone that
our requirements are that you not miss three meetings in a row or four meetings in a year. I think
that does make you subject to removal by the Board of County Commissioners. In discussing it
with staff, I think it is just the Board of County Commissioners wants to make sure that their
advisory boards are fully staffed so that there is no delay in moving the work through, especially
our work in terms of planned development projects, which are running on schedules with budgets
and timed approvals for permits, etc., so I just remind everyone to make as many meetings as
they can and keep staff informed when they are unable to make a meeting. I do not think any of it
is personal, I think the Board of County Commissioners are just wanting to make sure that they
have fully functioning advisory boards.

Delores Bailey: Mr. Chair?

Lamar Proctor: Yes, ma'am.

Delores Bailey: Is there a way to check our attendance?

Perdita Holtz: Jack keeps the attendance. He can email it out.

Delores Bailey: Thank you.

Lamar Proctor: Okay. So, if we want to check our attendance we just email Jack about can you tell me what 1
have missed or what have you.

AGENDA ITEM 7: PLANNING BOARD ANNUAL REPORT AND WORK PLAN—To review and approve the annual Input
form which informs the BOCC of the past year's activities of advisory boards/commissions and
assists in overall County work planning.

Lamar Proctor: The next item is seven, Planning Board Annual Report and Work Plan. This is to review and
approve the annual input form which informs the BOCC of the past year's activities of advisory
boards, commissions, and assists in overall county work planning. I think that requires me to
present to the Board of County Commissioners at some point.

Perdita Holtz: It does,yes.

Lamar Proctor: Do you know when that meeting will be?

Perdita Holtz: It is going to be either February or March depending on how they split them up. They do half of
the advisory boards one month and then half the next month. Do you remember what you did last
year?

Lamar Proctor: Yes.

Perdita Holtz: I think it was February. I think Planning Board might be February.

Lamar Proctor: Yes. I think I did okay and survived.

Perdita Holtz: You are still here.
