2 <br /> ALIGNMENT WITH STRATEGIC PLAN: This item supports: <br /> • GOAL 1: ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND CLIMATE ACTION <br /> OBJECTIVE 7. Conserve and protect high priority open space, including Natural Heritage <br /> sites, nature preserves, watershed riparian buffers, and prime/threatened farmland. <br /> • GOAL 6: DIVERSE AND VIBRANT ECONOMY <br /> OBJECTIVE 4. Provide resources to small, creative, and agro-businesses that add <br /> character and quality of life to our community to attract employers, employees, and visitors. <br /> RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board: <br /> 1) endorse the National Register of Historic Places Nomination for Moorefields (Additional <br /> Documentation and Technical Correction); and <br /> 2) approve and authorize the Chair to sign the Elected Official Comment Letter (Attachment <br /> 2) to indicate the Board's recommendation for the updated listing in the National Register. <br />
