The work will reinforce consistent supervisory engagement, strategic use of data, and <br />workforce support. By embedding these practices into day-to-day operations, the leadership team <br />will be better equipped to enhance trust, elevate service quality, support fiscal stewardship, and <br />improve outcomes for children, families, adults, and the broader community. <br />This proposal builds on the existing technical and managerial strengths of the DSS leadership <br />team, while strategically targeting areas for soft-skill growth. It promotes a collaborative, <br />solutions-driven approach to leadership development, ensuring long-term organizational success <br />and supporting Orange County DSS in fully living its mission to serve the community with <br />competence, compassion, and accountability. <br />The deliverables in this proposal include three phases: <br />Immersive Leadership Capacity-Building of DSS Leadership Team (Supervisors, <br />Managers, Administrators, Deputy Director, Director), consisting of: <br />1. Leadership Team Learning Sessions DSS Leadership Team – onsite <br />2. Affinity Group and One-on-One Capacity-Building Coaching, with a focus on <br />leadership practices to shift culture, teaming, and organizational lens, including <br />Accountability to Results <br /> <br />Phase 1: FY 25/26 January – June, 2026 <br />• Five Learning Sessions (January – Kickoff Meeting; Learning Sessions: February, <br />March, April, May, June) <br />• Organizational Values, Expectations (including Roles & Responsibilities), and <br />Emotional Regulation for Leading <br />• Crucial Conversations & Communication for Organizational Health <br />• The Relationship Between Reflective Feedback, Support, and Accountability: <br />Strengthening Your Team & Organization <br />• Two Additional Sessions, as identified through collaboration with the <br />Director <br />• Immersive Capacity-Building: Initial Group and One -on-One Capacity-Building <br />with DSS Leadership Team Members <br />Partner with the Director to determine which team members could most benefit <br />from one-on-one first <br />Docusign Envelope ID: AC4C45CF-250D-4DE2-95AE-CF75873C779C
