Travel Council and a retired business leader in Kinston. He said the Kinston Indians minor-league <br />baseball team often loses teenage workers in August. <br />Yet education leaders worry that the calendar bill would put the needs of businesses above those of schools. <br />"It sort of lets the school calendar become dependent on the needs of business and industry, like it did under the <br />old agrarian calendar," said Eddie Davis, vice president of the N.C.
