An initial estimate put the cost of replacement at$33,000 per unit,to be paid by the property owners. • Also, during the meeting, county staff reviewed the deed of the subject property filed in Register of Deeds 6255/501. The deed describes the subject property as a condominium. Evidence submitted by the county representative: • Orange County Land Records reviewed documentation for Village West and concluded that no Declaration of Condominium has been filed in the Orange County Register of Deeds. • Also,there is no mention of a condominium in the plat of Village West filed in Plat Book 30, page 1. • Since there is no Declaration of Condominium,the subject property should continue to be assessed as a townhome.
