Proposal for Geotechnical Engineering Services <br />Orange County Board of Elections Expansion | Hillsborough, North Carolina <br />Spetmeber 19, 2025 | Terracon Proposal No. P75255087 <br /> <br /> <br /> Facilities | Environmental | Geotechnical | Materials <br />Exhibit C - Compensation and Project Schedule <br />Compensation <br />Based upon our understanding of the site, the project as summarized in Exhibit A, and <br />our planned Scope of Services outlined in Exhibit B, our base fee is shown in the <br />following table: <br />Task Lump Sum <br />Fee2 <br />Private Utility Locate Services, Subsurface Exploration 1, Laboratory <br />Testing, Geotechnical Consulting and Reporting $6,950 <br />Private Utility Locate $1,000 <br />Total $7,950 <br />1. The lump sum fee considers one rig mobilization and no unexpected onsite <br />delays. Terracon will contact the Owner and discuss remedial action if <br />unexpected delays occur . <br />2. Proposed fees noted above are effective for 90 days from the date of the <br />proposal <br />Additional services not part of the base fee include the following: <br />Additional Services (see Exhibit B) Lump Sum Fee 4 Initial for <br />Authorization <br />Plans and Specifications Review $230 / HR Upon Request <br />Seasonal High Water Table Evaluation <br />(up to 10 feet deep 1,3, $500 per device for <br />additional) <br />$1,800 <br />Construction Materials Testing and Observation TBD <br />Wetlands & Waters Delineation $5,500 <br />Hand Auger and DCP $2,500 <br />1. Fee will only be invoiced if initialed by the Owner/Client <br />2. Refer to the Safety Section of this document for additional private utility <br />requirements <br />3.
