This will be limited to <br />two per year up to five years from the date of award or as otherwise agreed to by the Recipient and Orange <br />County Economic Development Office. <br />Exhibit C <br /> <br />Additional Information <br /> <br /> <br />Use of Funds:$8,085 towards expansion of pasture and woodland areas. <br /> <br />Purpose: We would like to expand/increase the amount of pasture and woodland space that we are currently <br />using to breed, farrow, and finish our herd of heritage breed pigs. We raise pigs to produce pork that is sold <br />to Orange County and area residents by way of local farmers' markets, home delivery, and direct -to- <br />restaurant sales. This project would create an additional pasture/forage area for our pigs that would enable <br />better rotation of our animals around our property, improve our husbandry practices, and ultimately increase <br />our pork production so that we can serve more people and communities in our area.
