FORM OF PROPOSAL <br /> <br />Attendant Booth Additions TRC PN: 670493 <br />Orange County, North Carolina AUGUST 2025 <br />BF-4 <br /> <br /> <br />UNIT RATE ITEMS: <br /> <br />1. EXCAVATION: This Work shall consist of furnishing all necessary materials, labor, equipment, and <br />appurtenances necessary to excavate soil material at the site as approved by the Engineer. <br />Progress payment will be made by truck/scrapper count or by a survey performed by the <br />Contractor.The Owner may perform verification surveying at the Owner's expense. Payment for <br />this item shall be on a unit price basis wherein measurement will be made by certified survey <br />paid by the Contractor. The Owner and/or Engineer will make final judgment of the quantities. <br /> <br />2. STRUCTURAL FILL: This Work shall consist of furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, and <br />appurtenance necessary to complete structural fill required to achieve subgrade. Cost shall <br />include placement of excavated material within the Work as structural fill. Payment for this item <br />shall be made on a unit price basis, wherein measurement will be made by certified survey paid <br />by the Contractor. <br /> <br />3. ASPHALT PAVING: This work shall consist of furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, and <br />appurtenances necessary to construct paved surfaces. Work to include asphalt aggregate course, <br />prepared surface, tack coat, prime coat. Payment for this item shall be made on a unit price <br />basis, wherein measurement will be made by survey. Pavement thickness shall be per the <br />standard detail on Sheet <br /> <br />4. AGGREGATE BASE COURSE: This work shall consist of furnishing all materials, labor, equipment, <br />and appurtenances necessary to construct aggregate roads and other areas. Work to include <br />prepared surface and aggregate. Payment for this item shall be made on a unit price. Basis <br />wherein measurement will be made by survey. <br /> <br /> <br />UNIT COST DEVIATIONS <br /> <br />The Contractor is responsible for providing Unit Prices consistent with typical industry norms for the Work <br />described. Unit Prices which appear inconsistent with typical prices for similar Work shall be justified by the <br />Contractor at the request of the Engineer. Providing Unit Prices which do not reasonably reflect the Work <br />described, either high or low, which are not justified satisfactorily to the Engineer, may deem the BIDDER <br />non-responsive and invalidate their Bid. <br /> <br />All items must be completed to be considered a responsive bid. Unit Prices have been computed in <br />accordance with the General Conditions. <br /> <br />Bidder acknowledges that estimated quantities are not guaranteed, and are solely for the purpose of <br />comparison of Bids, and final payment for all Unit Price Bid items will be based on actual quantities, <br />determined as provided in the contract Documents. <br /> <br /> <br />Docusign Envelope ID: 34F94CE0-2CE8-49C5-B7C4-6B696F8E23C3
