This Section includes the following: <br /> <br />1. Joints between cement concrete and asphalt pavement. <br />1.2 SUBMITTALS <br />A. Product Data: For each type of product indicated. <br />B. Samples: For each type and color of joint sealant required. <br />C. Product certificates. <br />D. Compatibility and Adhesion Test Reports: From sealant manufacturer. <br />1.3 QUALITY ASSURANCE <br />A. Preconstruction Compatibility and Adhesion Testing: Submit samples of <br />materials that will contact or affect joint sealants to joint-sealant manufacturers <br />for testing according to ASTM C 1087 to determine whether priming and other <br />specific joint preparation techniques are required to obtain rapid, optimum <br />adhesion of joint sealants to joint substrates. <br />PART 2 - PRODUCTS <br />2.1 MANUFACTURERS <br />A. Products: Subject to compliance with requirements, provide one of the <br />products listed in other Part 2 articles. <br />2.2 MATERIALS, GENERAL <br />A.
