ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS <br /> <br />Orange County Solid Waste <br />Orange County, North Carolina <br />ATTENDANT BOOTH ADDITIONS <br /> <br />General Notice: <br />Sealed proposals will be received until September 24th, 2025, at 2:00pm in the office of Orange County Solid <br />Waste Operations Center located at 1207 Eubanks Road, Chapel Hill, North Carolina 27516 Attn: Orange <br />County Finance Purchasing for the construction of the following Project Bid No. 367-OC5460: Attendant <br />Booth Additions. TRC PN: 670493. Bids will be publicly opened and read at 1207 Eubanks Road, Chapel Hill, <br />North Carolina 27516. <br /> <br />The Project includes the following work: <br />Work generally includes installation of pre-engineered attendant booths and all associated <br />infrastructure at three (3) Orange County Solid Waste & Recycling Centers as shown on the <br />construction drawings. <br /> <br />Obtaining the Bidding Documents: <br />Information and Bidding Documents for the Project can be found at the following designated website: <br />https://www.trccompanies.com/knowledge/trc-construction-planroom/ <br /> <br />Bidding Documents may be downloaded from the designated website. Prospective Bidders are urged to <br />register with the designated website as a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a plan <br />room or source other than the designated website in either electronic or paper format. The designated <br />website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other <br />information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. All questions are to be directed to <br />NWilhelm@TRCcompanies.com and must be submitted at least three business days prior to the bid date to <br />be considered. All official notifications, addenda, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through <br />the designated website. In addition, the Project Manual and any addendums will be posted to the Orange <br />County website https://www.co.orange.nc.us/Bids.aspx. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for <br />Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated websites. <br /> <br />The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: <br />TRC Engineers, Inc. <br />114 Edinburgh South Drive, Suite 200 <br />Cary, North Carolina 27511. <br /> <br />Bidders are strongly encouraged to register as a plan holder from the aforementioned website. Physical <br />documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible <br />for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other <br />than the Issuing Office. <br /> <br />The Owner is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages bidding by small, minority and <br />female contractors and does not discriminate on the basis of handicapped status. Bids from <br />qualified historically underutilized businesses (HUB’s) are encouraged. Bidder must provide 10% of total <br />contract cost to HUB’s or demonstrate good faith effort.
