<br />Attendant Booth Additions 01 45 00 - 2 <br />Orange County, North Carolina AUGUST 2025 <br />TRC PN: 670493 <br />1.06 MANUFACTURER’S FIELD SERVICES AND REPORTS <br />A. When specified in respective Specification Sections, require supplier, <br />manufacturer, or installer, to provide qualified personnel to observe field <br />conditions, conditions of surfaces and installation; quality of workmanship; <br />start-up of equipment; test, adjust, and balance of equipment as <br />applicable; and to make appropriate recommendations. <br /> <br />B. Manufacturer's representative shall submit a written report to Engineer <br />listing observations, site decisions, and instructions that are supplemental <br />or contrary to manufacturer's written instructions. The manufacturer's <br />representative shall certify that the materials and/or equipment has been <br />properly installed and is functioning correctly. <br /> <br />1.07 TESTING <br />All necessary testing services shall be arranged for and paid by the Contractor <br />unless otherwise indicated (Section 32 12 16 – Asphalt Paving) in the Contract <br />Documents. <br /> <br />1.08 INSPECTION AND TESTING LABORATORY SERVICES FOR CONCRETE <br />AND SOILS <br />A. Where reference is made in the Specifications to tests, inspections, <br />independent designs, etc., such services shall be furnished by a fully <br />qualified independent testing laboratory or firm of inspection engineers. <br />All costs for providing such services shall be paid for by the Owner. <br />B. All arrangements for the testing work shall be made by the Contractor. <br />Whenever inclement weather does not provide suitable testing conditions, <br />the Contractor shall be responsible for cancellation notice to the testing <br />agency. Any costs incurred because of failure to provide adequate <br />cancellation notice shall be borne by the Contractor. Owner shall be <br />notified of arrangements made for testing work. <br />C. If a test fails to meet specification requirements, then the area represented <br />by that test shall be reworked and retested at the Contractor’s expense. <br />Any additional testing required to verify previously failing tests shall be at <br />the Contractor’s expense. All corrective measures shall be documented in <br />the Quality Control reports. <br />D.
