Materials may be new or used, but must be adequate in capacity for the required <br />usage, must not create unsafe conditions, and must not violate requirements of <br />applicable codes and standards. <br /> <br />32.4 Temporary Electricity and Lighting <br /> <br />A. Arrange with utility company, provide service required for power and lighting, and <br />pay all costs for service and for power used in construction and testing. <br /> <br />B. Install circuit and branch wiring, with area distribution boxes located so that <br />power and lighting is available as required for construction by the use of <br />construction-type power cords. <br /> <br />32.5 Temporary Ventilation <br /> <br />A. Provide temporary ventilation as required to maintain adequate environmental <br />conditions to facilitate progress of the Work to meet specified OSHA <br />requirements. <br /> <br />B. Provide temporary ventilation, if necessary, to protect materials from damage <br />due to temperature or humidity. <br /> <br />32.6 Temporary Water <br /> <br />A. Make all necessary arrangements for obtaining water for construction purposes. <br /> <br />32.7 Temporary Sanitary Facilities <br /> <br />A. Provide sanitary facilities in construction trailers. <br />B. Service, clean and maintain facilities and enclosures. <br /> <br />32.8 Temporary Pumps <br /> <br />A. Provide temporary pumps for removal of water from the excavation when <br />required by the Work to maintain proper conditions for construction. <br /> <br />32.9 General <br /> <br />A. Maintain and operate systems to assure continuous service. <br /> <br />B. Modify and extend systems as work progress requires. <br /> <br />32.10 Removal <br /> <br />A. Completely remove temporary materials and equipment when their use is no <br />longer required. <br /> <br />B.
