<br />Attendant Booth Additions SC - 1 <br />Orange County Solid Waste AUGUST 2025 <br />TRC PN: 670493 <br /> <br />SPECIAL CONDITIONS <br /> <br />ATTENDANT BOOTH ADDITIONS <br /> <br />S-1 - PROJECT SCOPE <br /> <br />1.1 Work consists of furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment and related items and <br />services required for construction of the Attendant Booth Installation Project that are in strict <br />accordance with the Contract Documents. All Bids shall include mobilization, <br />administration labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, taxes, insurance, and all <br />other items necessary for a complete and acceptable project. Work is located within <br />property of Orange County. Requirements of the owners of the properties and right-of-ways <br />must be complied with, and work sites must be restored to pre-construction condition. <br /> <br />S-2 - CONTRACT DOCUMENTS <br /> <br />2.1 All documents listed herein are a part of this Contract and the requirements of each part <br />shall apply to the entire project as may be applicable. <br /> <br />A. Furnishing Documents: Contract Documents will be furnished as follows: Bidders will <br />be supplied one set of documents upon receipt of payment as stipulated in the <br />Invitation to Bid. Successful Bidders will be furnished documents without charge, as <br />follows: <br /> <br />1. Digital copy of the Contract Documents <br />2. Two sets for Contract Record Purposes. <br />3. Two sets as required for Contractor's use; additional sets will be furnished upon <br />request as long as they are available without additional printing cost. <br /> <br /> <br />S-3 - BONDS <br /> <br />3.1 Bid Bond: A bid bond is required and shall be in the form provided in the contract <br />documents and as follows: <br />A. A Bid must be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount <br />of 5% of Bidder’s maximum Bid price and in the form of a certified check or a Bid <br />bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements and form provide in the Contract <br />Documents. <br />B. The Bid security of the Successful Bidder will be retained until such Bidder has <br />executed the Contract Documents, furnished the required contract security and met <br />the other conditions of the Notice of Award, whereupon the Bid security will be <br />returned. If the Successful Bidder fails to execute and deliver the Contract <br />Documents and furnish the required contract security within the time specified after <br />the Notice of Award, Owner may annul the Notice of Award and the Bid security of <br />that Bidder will be forfeited. The Bid security of other Bidders whom Owner believes <br />to have a reasonable chance of receiving the award may be retained by Owner until <br />seven days after the Effective Date of the Agreement, whereupon Bid security <br />furnished by such Bidders will be returned. <br /> <br />Docusign Envelope ID: 34F94CE0-2CE8-49C5-B7C4-6B696F8E23C3
