<br /> <br /> <br />TO: Mr. Bruce Woody <br /> Orange County Solid Waste Management <br /> <br />FROM: Deborah Coakley, Sean Jarvah, Bilgen Yuncu <br /> Environmental Services Division <br /> <br />DATE: 06/03/25 <br /> <br />SUBJECT: Groundwater Monitoring Program (FY 2025-2026) <br /> OCSWM North Landfill: <br /> TRC Project No. TBD <br /> <br /> <br />TRC Engineers, Inc., (formerly Draper Aden Associates) proposes to provide professional environmental <br />services to Orange County Solid Waste Management (OCSWM) pertaining to the groundwater monitoring <br />and corrective action program at North Landfill, in accordance with an existing Services Agreement <br />between OCSWM and TRC. <br /> <br />The subject proposal is intended to encompass services that will be provided to conduct the Fall 2025 and <br />Spring 2026 groundwater sampling/reporting events (July 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026). <br /> <br />This proposal is restricted to services to be provided for OCSWM North Landfill. Specific tasks to be <br />performed during the service period are detailed as follows. <br /> <br />Task-01 <br />Groundwater Sampling Event 64 (Event 2025 S2) <br /> <br />TRC proposes to conduct groundwater sampling event 64 at the Orange County Regional Landfill – North <br />Facility during November 2025. <br /> <br />TRC shall coordinate field and laboratory services, obtain groundwater samples, review sampling <br />documentation received from groundwater sampling personnel, chemically analyze groundwater samples <br />(Eurofins), validate analytical data provided by the contracted laboratory, update historical summary tables, <br />and prepare a report suitable for direct submission to NCDEQ. <br /> <br />During the subject sampling event, the laboratory will analyze: <br />▪ samples obtained from twelve compliance wells (6801-MW04, 6801-MW06R, 6801-MW07R, <br />6801-MW14A, 6801-MW14B, 6801-MW15, 6801-MW16, 6801-MW17, 6801-MW20, 6801- <br />MW21S, 6801-MW21D, 6801-MW22) and two surface water locations for the constituents listed <br />in 40 CFR Part 258 Appendix I (15A NCAC 13B .1600), plus those constituents listed in Appendix <br />II that have been previously and reliably detected at this facility (mercury, naphthalene, sulfide) <br />Docusign Envelope ID: 174C8FB9-37C8-4E30-AECB-BF3B9992AAC6
