2 <br /> Planning staff continues its coordination with the Home Builders Association (HBA) of Durham, <br /> Orange, and Chatham County for the purpose of obtaining developer input for the Land Use Plan <br /> 2050. The HBA provided a letter (Attachment D) to the BOCC in August of this year with some <br /> preliminary input. The HBA staff has also indicated a willingness to help inform its membership <br /> of engagement opportunities, when scheduled. Following BOCC authorization to proceed, the <br /> next phase of the Land Use Plan 2050 process is Community Engagement Window#3, to unveil <br /> a draft Land Use Plan 2050, and is anticipated to occur next spring.
