She said it is what is funding the current fiscal year, 2025-26. She said <br /> 6 they are showing a comparison of what the Tax department was doing in the previous year. <br /> 7 Chair Bedford said that the figure of $203,626,577 in slide #5 is the property taxes that <br /> 8 the bills went out for. <br /> 9 Nancy Freeman said that's the current year that the bills went out for, plus delinquent <br /> 10 taxes that are charged from previous years. She said that the effective date is at the top of the <br /> 11 chart, and they are showing how well they are doing compared to the previous year. <br /> 12 Chair Bedford said that when they get the report in June, they would want to see that <br /> 13 figure in the 90s. <br /> 14 Nancy Freeman said they also compare to how well they are doing collecting based <br /> 15 against the entire levy. <br /> 16 Chair Bedford asked if motor vehicle collections are a month behind. <br /> 17 Nancy Freeman said they are usually a little behind. <br /> 18 Chair Bedford asked if this is information is required to be given to the Board. <br /> 19 Nancy Freeman said yes. <br /> 20 <br /> 21 <br />
