Proposed Special Use Permit Application Description <br /> A 2015 Special Use Permit (SUP), recorded in Orange County Records Book 6886, Page 815 approved a <br /> master plan for the Emerson Waldorf School consisting of several buildings including, but not limited to: arts <br /> center, auditorium, gymnasium, and additions to existing structures totaling 56,562 sq. ft. The master plan <br /> and SUP allows for up to 350 students and 55 staff members. The 2015 Special Use Permit is contained in <br /> Attachment 1. The major modification request is to modify the 2015 SUP to update the campus master plan <br /> to plan for future development and support facilities over the next 10 years. In addition, the site contains accessory <br /> structures including sheds, playground equipment, amphitheater, basketball and volleyball courts, and <br /> shelters. These existing buildings are contained on Sheet C1.00 of the site plan (Attachment 2). Supporting <br /> school uses and utilities are contained on PINs 9871658140, 9871743098, and 9871721935. <br /> The main campus is served via three existing ingress/egress points connecting to New Jericho Road. Main <br /> access to the site is provided via a Steiner Way (private). Existing parking and pedestrian access areas are <br /> provided on site. <br /> The current Schools: Elementary, Middle, and Secondary land use was approved with a Special Use Permit <br /> in 2015. The school also has an approved SUP from 1988, modified in 1993 and 2006, for a daycare use. <br /> 2 <br />
