Article 5: U922 <br /> Section 5.10: Standards for Telecommunication Facilities <br /> (ii) The height of one additional antenna array with separation from <br /> the nearest antenna not to exceed 20 feet; <br /> (b) The proposed additional facility will not increase the width of <br /> (i) Any appurtenance attached to the tower(wireless support <br /> structure) by more than 20 feet or; <br /> (ii) More than the width of the tower(wireless support structure by <br /> more than the width of the tower at the level of the <br /> appurtenance; <br /> (c) Existing equipment compounds shall not be increased by more than <br /> 2,500 square feet. <br /> (d) Twenty-foot tall Wireless Support Structures are permitted on buildings <br /> as defined and regulated by Section 5.10.564�); <br /> (e) The proposed additional facility will comply with applicable regulations, <br /> restrictions, or conditions, if any, applied to the initial wireless facilities <br /> placed on the tower or other wireless support structure; <br /> (f) The proposed additional wireless facilities comply with all federal, State, <br /> and local safety requirements; <br /> (g) All applicants for the collocation of antennas on existing structures shall <br /> be required to submit the following; <br /> (i) The age of the existing wireless support structure; <br /> (ii) The date of the original permit approval or authorization for the <br /> existing wireless support structure; <br /> (iii) For a wireless support structure that was built five or more years <br /> before the date of an application, or for a guyed structure built <br /> three years before an application date, a copy of the latest TIA <br /> 222 Report done pursuant to the latest adopted Appendix to <br /> ANSI-EIA/TIA 222 for any self-supporting tower. If a TIA 222 <br /> report has not been done pursuant to the preceding schedule, a <br /> TIA 222 report shall be done and submitted as part of the <br /> application. No Building Permit shall be issued for any wireless <br /> support structure where the structure being attached to is in <br /> need of remediation, unless and until the County Planning and <br /> Inspections Department has approved all remediation work <br /> needed has been completed and/or a schedule for the <br /> remediation work has been approved; and. <br /> (iv) A Structural Report signed and sealed by a Professional <br /> Engineer showing the structural adequacy of the wireless <br /> support structure to accommodate the additional facility and any <br /> associated equipment. <br /> (7) Notwithstanding the other provisions of Section 5.10, wireless communications <br /> facilities in existence as of December 10, 2002, may be replaced with a new <br /> wireless communications facility of equal or less visual impact, provided they <br /> comply with the minimum standards of Section 5.10. <br /> (B) Stealth <br /> (1) General Standards <br /> (a) To minimize adverse visual impacts stealth towers (wireless support <br /> structures) and antennas are preferred.
