Chad Phillips encouraged the Board to utilize Spatialest to <br /> review evidence for upcoming appeals. Appeal documentation is available for review several <br /> days prior to the scheduled meeting date the majority of the time. <br /> • Due to concerns that appellants have expressed feelings of intimidation when appearing to <br /> present their appeal to the Board of Equalization and Review, the Tax Staff thought it may help to <br /> reduce the number of staff members present during the meetings.Nancy Freeman and Chad <br /> Phillips will rotate the days or time periods that they cover the meetings. Jennifer Rigsbee and <br /> Rob Teachout will do the same. <br /> • The meeting scheduled for Wednesday,November 12,2025 has been canceled. <br /> • Chad Phillips let the Board know that the neighborhood reviews are almost complete. Knowing <br /> that upcoming appeals will be affected by the results of the reviews,the Tax Staff felt it would be <br /> best to reschedule those appeals to a later date. The appeals have been rescheduled for December <br /> 10, 2025. This will be a full day of appeals specific to properties that are located in the <br /> neighborhoods that were reviewed. <br /> • Three additional full days of appeals have been added to the Board of Equalization and Review <br /> calendar in order to complete the remaining appeals for 2025.
