Chad Phillips encouraged the Board to utilize Spatialest to <br />review evidence for upcoming appeals. Appeal documentation is available for review several <br />days prior to the scheduled meeting date the majority of the time. <br />• Due to concerns that appellants have expressed feelings of intimidation when appearing to <br />present their appeal to the Board of Equalization and Review, the Tax Staff thought it may help to <br />reduce the number of staff members present during the meetings. Nancy Freeman and Chad <br />Phillips will rotate the days or time periods that they cover the meetings. Jennifer Rigsbee and <br />Rob Teachout will do the same. <br />• The meeting scheduled for Wednesday, November 12, 2025 has been canceled. <br />• Chad Phillips let the Board know that the neighborhood reviews are almost complete. Knowing <br />that upcoming appeals will be affected by the results of the reviews, the Tax Staff felt it would be <br />best to reschedule those appeals to a later date. The appeals have been rescheduled for December <br />10, 2025. This will be a full day of appeals specific to properties that are located in the <br />neighborhoods that were reviewed. <br />• Three additional full days of appeals have been added to the Board of Equalization and Review <br />calendar in order to complete the remaining appeals for 2025.
