Position indicators <br /> Door panels <br /> Car Components <br /> Safety edge, bumpers <br /> Car operating panel keyswitches and buttons <br /> Riding lantern, position indicator <br /> Phone, alarm bell <br /> <br />The COMPANY will oil, grease, clean, inspect, and report elevator component status and inefficien- <br />cies when they arise. <br />CALLS OUTSIDE 8AM - 4:30PM <br />For service requests outside of normal business hours for services covered under this Agreement, <br />The CUSTOMER will be responsible for the overtime rates of labor when service calls fall outside the <br />normal business hours of 8AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday. Labor costs include travel time, <br />travel expenses, and time spent on site. <br />SAFETY <br />CUSTOMER agrees to instruct and warn passengers in the proper use of the equipment and to keep <br />the equipment under surveillance to detect inconsistencies and unfunctionality between elevator <br />examinations. CUSTOMER agrees to report any condition that may indicate the need for correction <br />immediately. CUSTOMER agrees to shut down the elevator immediately upon manifestation on any <br />unfunctionality in operation, notify COMPANY at once, and keep equipment shutdown until comple- <br />tion of inspection by a representative of COMPANY. The CUSTOMER retains responsibility as owner <br />and/or manager of the premises and the elevator equipment. CUSTOMER agrees to provide COMPA- <br />NY personnel a safe place in which to work. COMPANY reserves the right to discontinue work in the <br />building whenever, in our sole opinion, our personnel do not have a safe place to work. <br />LIABILITY <br />In consideration for COMPANY performing the services, you expressly agree to indemnify, defend, <br />and hold harmless, COMPANY, our officers, agents and employees from and against any and all <br />claims, demands, suits, and proceedings brought against COMPANY or our employees, including <br />but not limited to loss, damage, injury or death that are alleged to have arisen from negligence of <br />Purchaser or any others in connection with the presence, use, misuse, maintenance, installation, <br />removal, manufacturer, design, operation or condition of the equipment covered by this agreement, <br />or the associated areas surrounding such equipment. CUSTOMER’S duty to indemnify does not apply <br />to claims or losses determined to be caused by or resulting from the negligence of COMPANY or our <br />employees.
