14 <br />3, This contract shall commence immediately and this project shall be completed <br />within the timeline identified in the proposal unless an extension of time is agreed <br />upon by both parties. <br />4. The Contractor shall provide the services independently and shall not be deemed <br />to be an employee of the County for any purpose, <br />5. Unless otherwise provided in this Agreement, the Contractor shall not <br />subcontract or permit the subcontracting of any portion of the services to any <br />other individuals, firms or corporations at any time without the prior written <br />consent of the County, and any purported assignment made without that consent <br />is void and of no effect. <br />6, Any notice request, demand, consent, approval, correspondence, report or other <br />communication required pursuant to or permitted under this Agreement must be <br />in writing and must be given by personal delivery or first-class mail with postage <br />or charges prepaid.
