These include : <br /> i� <br /> • 09 NCAC 03M . 0205 : Entities that meet the threshold for Level II reporting will be required to submit a single <br /> audit or program -specific audit . The Level II threshold for state grants is now aligned with 2 CFR 200 . 501 ( a ) , <br /> which is currently $ 750, 000 but will rise to $ 1 , 000, 000 as of October 1 , 2024 . <br /> • State agencies are now required to communicate in writing to a grant recipient if that recipient is out of <br /> compliance with grant requirements within 30 business days of becoming noncompliant . The grant recipient <br /> must respond in writing to the agency ' s notice of noncompliance . <br />
