They <br /> have a lake, a pool, a large,nice kitchen, granite sinks in the bathrooms and <br /> bookshelves. <br /> • Horace Johnson of the Orange County Property Tax Justice Coalition provided evidence on <br /> behalf of the appellant. <br /> Evidence submitted by the county representative: <br /> • The subject property is a 2,616 square foot single family home with a finished basement; 3 <br /> bedrooms and 2& 1/2 baths built in 1974 on 1.98 acres of land in Rougemont. <br /> • Due to the leak in the roof and the topography of the land,the house has sustained water <br /> damage including damaged kitchen cabinets, warped paneling in garage and basement, soaked <br /> carpet that had to be removed in the basement as well as mold and mildew. <br /> • The County recommends: <br /> ➢ Adding-20%topography to the land <br /> ➢ Reducing the grade of the home from C+10 to C <br /> ➢ Reducing the effective year built from 1979 to 1974 (AYB) for damage and needed <br /> upgrades <br /> ➢ Adding an additional 10%physical depreciation to the house for water damage <br /> • These proposed changes would result in a reduction in total value from$357,000 to $280,900. <br /> • Images of subject <br /> • GIS Map <br /> • Sales/Equity Analysis <br /> • Current Property Record Card <br /> • Proposed Property Record Card <br /> Motion of the Board Value Changed as Follows: Additionally, change the condition <br /> of the home to Fair resulting in a <br /> revised value of <br /> $258,200 <br /> Made the motion Barbara Levine <br /> Seconded the motion Saru Salvi <br /> Voted For All BOER Members <br /> Voted Against <br /> Property Identification: <br /> 1 Property Owner I Elizabeth K.
