2 <br /> Informational Technologies <br /> 2. Information Technologies is required to update existing Structured Query Language (SQL) <br /> Server licenses and purchase additional licenses to be in compliance as part of the <br /> County's annual Microsoft Agreement. SQL licenses are used for the County's database <br /> servers. This amendment allocates $107,976 from the County Capital Reserve Fund and <br /> appropriates these funds within the General Fund. With approval of this item, the <br /> remaining unaudited balance in the County Capital Reserve Fund will be $41,196. <br /> ALIGNMENT WITH STRATEGIC PLAN: This item supports: <br /> • MISSION STATEMENT — Orange County is a visionary leader in providing <br /> governmental services valued by our community, beyond those required by law, in an <br /> equitable, sustainable, innovative and efficient way. <br /> Housing <br /> 3. Longtime Homeowners Assistance - The Town of Carrboro and the Town of Chapel Hill <br /> have contracted with the County's Housing Department to supplement the Longtime <br /> Homeowners Assistance Program specifically for the towns' residents. The Town of <br /> Carrboro will provide an additional $45,000 to offset the tax bills of eligible residents in the <br /> town, and the Town of Chapel Hill will provide an additional $75,000 for its eligible <br /> residents. <br /> 4. Rapid Rehousing — Compass Center - The Orange County Rapid Re-Housing program <br /> was approved to receive a grant transfer that was awarded to The Women's Center, Inc <br /> (dba Compass Center) in the FY24 Continuum of Care (CoC) competition. This grant <br /> award is $208,976, and the performance period is January 1, 2026 — December 31, 2026. <br /> The program is administered in the Orange County Housing Department with assistance <br /> and oversight from the Orange County Partnership to End Homelessness. The program <br /> provides supportive services and rental assistance to people who are currently <br /> experiencing homelessness in Orange County AND are actively fleeing domestic violence. <br /> This budget amendment will renew a time-limited Rapid Rehousing Specialist III (position <br /> 1406) through December 31, 2026, provides for the receipt of these funds in the <br /> Community Development Fund, and establishes the following project ordinance: <br /> Rapid Rehousing - Compass Center($208,976) - Project#47479 <br /> Revenues for this project: <br /> Current FY 2025-26 FY 2025-26 <br /> FY 2025-26 Amendment Revised <br /> Grant Revenue $322,624 $208,976 $531,600 <br /> Total Project Funding $322,624 $208,976 $531,600 <br /> Appropriated for this project: <br /> Current FY 2025-26 FY 2025-26 <br /> FY 2025-26 Amendment Revised <br /> Project Expenditures $322,624 $208,976 $531,600 <br /> Total Costs $322,624 $208,976 $531,600 <br />
