34 <br /> Contract Covers This contract covers: <br /> CATEGORYA SEDANS, all types and configurations <br /> CATEGORY B SUV/CROSSOVER, all types and configurations <br /> CATEGORY C VANS, all types and configurations <br /> CATEGORY D LIGHT TRUCKS, all types and configurations <br /> CATEGORY E MEDIUM and SUPERDUTY TRUCKS, all types and configurations <br /> j CATEGORY F PASSENGER, CARGO, and CREW VANS, all types and <br /> configurations <br /> CATEGORY G CAB and CHASSIS, all types and configurations <br /> CATEGORY H POLICE PURSUIT VEHICLES/SPECIAL SERVICE VEHICLES <br /> (PPV/SSV), SEDANS, VANS, and TRUCKS, all types and <br /> configurations <br /> CATEGORY I ELECTRIC(ZEV) HYBRID VEHICLES (SEDANS, VANS, SUV, and <br /> TRUCKS), all types and configurations <br /> This contract covers Original Equipment Manufacturer(OEM) options and aftermarket <br /> components: <br /> • Discounts for OEM options and aftermarket components are included in the <br /> pricing information sheet and can be ordered through the awarded dealer for <br /> each vehicle. <br /> • Examples of covered items include but are not limited to storage bins, ladder <br /> racks, light bars, work trays, equipment mounts, special decaling, non-factory <br /> window tinting, cages, partitions, lifts, and bed covers. <br /> Contract Type This is a mandatory statewide term contract for state agencies, departments, <br /> institutions, universities, and community colleges- unless exempted by North Carolina <br /> general statute. Non-mandatory entities, including schools and local governments, <br /> may use this contract as allowed by general statute. <br /> Special Notes General Statute 143-341 (8)(i) <br /> Per General Statute 143-341 (8)(i), all state agencies must fulfill their requirements for <br /> passenger vehicles through Motor Fleet Management. Questions regarding this <br /> statute or what vehicles are covered under the statute should be directed to Motor <br /> Fleet Management <br /> Exception Request to Purchase Off Contract <br /> Agencies must seek prior approval for purchases where the contract does not satisfy <br /> I agency requirements.
