He said the <br /> 5 plan also includes goals similar to the county's draft land use plan, like discouraging sprawl, <br /> 6 improving opportunities for mass transit, and improving opportunities for alternative transportation <br /> 7 methods. He said those are all better served by dense infill development in municipalities than <br /> 8 expanding out into the county. He said that some recommendations in the town's adopted plan <br /> 9 require updated to some of the joint plans. He said the town is in the process of updating its unified <br /> 10 development ordinance and there is a goal of having a draft completed and out to the public for <br /> 11 review by May 2026 and adoption in August 2026. <br /> 12 <br /> 13 <br />
