He said they are <br /> 7 looking to hire 6 additional people. He explained that the department hires EMTs but has been <br /> 8 functioning at a First Responder level, and is transitioning into the full scope. <br /> 9 Chief Potter said that allows them to perform additional skills and carry additional <br /> 10 medications for patient care. <br />
