Proposed Access and Transportation Network Improvements <br /> The applicant proposes the construction of two public roads, consisting of 50-ft. rights-of-way and 20-ft. <br /> travel ways, to be accepted for maintenance by NCDOT. The site-specific plan presented for the <br /> proposed zoning atlas amendment proposes the use of community well and individual septic systems for <br /> each lot. However, as a result of Planning Board discussion the applicant offered a new condition (detailed <br /> as condition #13, Attachment 1 (21)) in which the property owner has committed to petition the Town of <br /> Hillsborough for access to public water if the project receives zoning approval. Provision of water service is <br /> subject to whether the Town of Hillsborough willing and able to serve the development.
