Do the residents appear neat, clean and odor free? Y We chatted to several of the residents in the halls <br />while we walked through the facility. We also with <br />permission entered several rooms introduced <br />ourselves and had conversations regarding their <br />comforts. <br />2. Did residents say they receive assistance with personal care <br />activities? Ex. brushing their teeth, combing their hair, inserting <br />dentures or cleaning their eyeglasses ? <br />NA <br />3. N The Memory Care unit continues doing a good job: <br />They were getting ready for lunch, and the aides <br />were getting EVERYONE to the tables. <br />The roach situation seems to be settled, state people <br />visited 4 days in a row to help. <br />2. Were residents asked their preferences or opinions about the <br />activities planned for them at the facility? <br />NA Library looks very good, clean. <br />The dietitian has been changed and this was noted <br />as a positive by a few residents. <br />Today was laundry day with many baskets in the <br />halls, but not obstructing traffic. <br />One resident mentioned cleaning deficiencies: <br />mopping/sweeping only in the center of the room, <br />four full urine bags hanging on the bed, no paper <br />towels in bath. <br />We suggested having the OC Endless Possibilities <br />magazine delivered for community involvement, yes <br />to that. <br />2. The <br />administrator promised to investigate. She believes <br />the bags were all from overnight. New staff for <br />housekeeping and no complaints regarding rooms <br />not being cleaned. <br />
