NON-STIP PMP <br /> August 5, 2025 <br /> PROJF TIMELINE AND M - - ESTONES <br /> As each Non-STIP project is carried out through close administrative coordination with NCDOT <br /> staff, project timelines will naturally vary depending on the scope, complexity, and scheduling <br /> requirements of each initiative. To facilitate oversight and ensure transparency throughout the <br /> implementation process, the following table has been developed as a strategic tracking tool. <br /> This table is designed to monitor the progress and status of each project, while supporting <br /> accountability and structured communication with key stakeholders. The inclusion of key <br /> milestones allows for consistent alignment with the NCDOT quarterly planning and reporting <br /> cycles, as well as regular engagements with the OUTBoard. These milestones serve to ensure <br /> that collaboration across all parties remains synchronized, timely, and effective. <br /> Key Project Milestones <br /> • Project Identification <br /> Initial selection and scoping of the non-STIP project in coordination with local and NCDOT <br /> priorities. <br /> • Table and Map Update <br /> Integration of project data into the tracking table and corresponding geographic information <br /> system (GIS) maps. <br /> • NCDOT Quarterly Follow-Up <br /> Review and update sessions held in alignment with NCDOT's quarterly coordination <br /> meetings to ensure progress and address any administrative or technical challenges. <br /> • OUTBoard Follow-Up <br /> Updates provided to the OUTBoard to maintain transparency, gather feedback, and reaffirm <br /> community alignment. <br /> • Annual Review <br /> Comprehensive evaluation conducted annually to assess overall project performance, <br /> document lessons learned, and guide future planning efforts. <br /> OCTS staff are responsible for their own internal process for the day-to-day administration of <br /> each Non-STIP project, this may consist of and not limited to: <br /> Project management spreadsheet or work plan <br /> Weekly coordination and collaboration meetings with department and NCDOT staff <br /> In-house routine data analysis and mapping <br /> 11 <br />
