While I was working full-time and raising children, I had little time to be <br /> involved in the community to the degree I would have liked. My 93 <br /> year old mother, recently deceased, created a real interest in finding solutions to the problems <br /> of housing for senior citizens <br /> Please explain your reasons for wanting to serve on this board <br /> Prior to my mother s death last month, she lived with me for awhile. During this time, I <br /> interviewed and visited numerous facilities for senior citizens. I am acutely aware of the lack of <br /> housing for the senior population. <br /> How would your particpation on this board contribute to the diversity of viewpoints? <br /> I can see this issue from the perspective of both a senior citizen and as the care taker of a <br /> senior citizen (my mother).
