During her tenure she served as Chief of <br /> Staff and Chief Performance Officer for Fayetteville, and oversaw strategic planning, corporate <br /> communications, community engagement initiatives, and intergovernmental affairs, earning numerous <br /> accolades for effective communication, innovation and results-driven leadership. <br /> Rebecca holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, <br /> where she was named Business Student of the Year. She is a lifetime member of the Wine Country Chapter <br /> of the North Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and has earned a Municipal <br /> Administration Certification from UNC-Chapel Hill. Additionally, she is a Certified Budget and Evaluation <br /> Officer, trained in Six Sigma, certified in the COBIT framework, and accredited in the True Tilt Profile, a self- <br /> assessment tool designed to enhance personal agility and character development. <br /> Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys traveling with her husband, spoiling her grandchildren, and discovering <br /> hidden gems at estate sales.
