Motor Vehicle Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> The Board adopted a resolution to release motor vehicle property tax values for fourteen <br /> taxpayers with a total of fifteen bills that will result in a reduction of revenue. <br /> c. Property Tax Releases/Refunds <br /> The Board adopted a resolution to release property tax values for twenty-nine taxpayers with a <br /> total of thirty-six bills that will result in a reduction of revenue. <br /> d. Late Applications for Property Tax Exemption/Exclusion <br /> The Board considered twenty untimely applications for exemption/exclusion from ad valorem <br /> taxation for twenty bills for the 2025 tax year. <br /> e. Fiscal Year 2025-26 Budget Amendment #2 & Fiscal Year 2024-25 Budget Amendment <br /> #12 <br /> The Board approved budget, grant, and capital project ordinance amendments for Fiscal Year <br /> 2025-26 and FY 2024-25. <br /> f. Approval of Health Department Fee Change <br /> The Board approved a new fee adjustment to the Environmental Health fee schedule as <br /> recommended/approved by the Orange County Board of Health, and amend the FY 2025-26 <br /> County Fee Schedule. <br /> g. Lease Renewal for Senior Care of Orange County, Inc. (Soltys Place) <br /> The Board approved a resolution authorizing a five-year renewal of the lease agreement <br /> between Orange County and Senior Care of Orange County, Inc. for Soltys Place at the Central <br /> Orange Senior Center campus. <br /> h. Amendments to the Emergency Management Ordinance — First Consideration <br /> The Board approved on first consideration amendments to Chapter 14, Emergency <br /> Management Ordinance, of the Orange County Code of Ordinances. <br /> i. Amendments to the Noise Ordinance — First Consideration <br /> The Board approved on first consideration amendments to Chapter 16, Article III, Noise <br /> Ordinance, of the Orange County Code of Ordinances. <br /> j. Approval of Revisions to the Orange County Code of Ordinances Section 28 — <br /> Personnel <br /> The Board approved recommended revisions to the Orange County Code of Ordinances <br /> Chapter 28 — Personnel. <br /> k. Resolutions of Approval for the HOME 2025-2026 Annual Action Plan (AAP) <br /> The Board: <br /> 1) Adopted a resolution authorizing submission of the FY 2025-2026 Annual Action Plan; <br /> 2) Adopted a resolution approving the proposed HOME Program Activities for FY 2025- <br /> 2026; and <br /> 3) Authorized the County Manager to implement the HOME Program as approved by the <br /> Board of Commissioners, including the ability to execute agreements with partnering <br /> nonprofit organizations after consultation with the County Attorney and based on the <br /> allocation received from the US Department of Housing & Urban Development (HUD). <br /> 9. County Manager's Report <br /> Travis Myren said there will be an outreach event at the Comfort Inn for TS Chantal <br /> survivors who are still housed there and reminded the Board about the work session on <br /> September 9 at Southern Human Services Center. <br /> 10. County Attorney's Report <br /> John Roberts said the Sportsplex issues he mentioned previously were resolved. <br />
