This process involves evaluating existing regional well infrastructure, hydrogeology, and <br />potential for groundwater supply from the site’s aquifers. Work will include preparing and providing <br />a presentation on the community well siting, permitting, and construction process. <br /> <br />The presentation will be completed by a licensed NC Professional Geologist within a budget not <br />to exceed $2,250. This budget includes time and expenses to provide the following deliverables: <br /> <br />1. One up to one hour presentation on the pros and cons of a community water well system <br />which includes: <br />a. Discussion on the permitting process for private versus community wells. <br />b. Understanding site specific groundwater yield potential and viability for <br />community well siting and construction. <br />c. An explanation of drilling methods and general construction of community wells <br />across central NC. <br />d. Understanding potential impacts to other wells and regional trends. <br />e. An overview of water quality analyses and common constituents. <br />f. Question and answer segment and follow up email questions. <br />2.
