Approved 9.3.25

Beth Trahos: It's a condition. Yes, sir.

Josh Reinke: Correct.

Lamar Proctor: If it's approved, then you're going to build them.

Beth Trahos: Well,with DOT approval.

Lamar Proctor: If DOT approves it.

Josh Reinke: That's right.

Lamar Proctor: That's what I meant.

Josh Reinke: Yes.

Delores Bailey: So,you guys thinking that that's going to abate the fears of the current residents that there's
already a problem with that left turn, and you're thinking that's going to fix it?

Josh Reinke: The purpose of this is to say, there is no capacity issues. We just got a backstory, as nothing was
required to be done by DOT or county. We did a traffic study anyways. We even ran analysis, so
it's not even saying it's a low-trip generator. It's below the threshold. We ran analysis to see how
that would operate. Then nothing was required by DOT. Once I seal it and submit it to them, they
have to review it. They said, we're not requiring any turn lanes. Essentially, this will get traffic
safely out of that through movement to allow them to turn in. So,the purpose of a traffic study is
to mitigate any traffic impacts this development would have.

Delores Bailey: Yeah. And I'm just concerned about what the neighbors feel like. Do they feel like this is
absolutely going to satisfy the problems that they think they're having already?

Josh Reinke: I won't speak on behalf of how the neighbors feel, but yeah, go ahead.

Beth Trahos: Yeah. I won't speak on that either, but I will say that these turn lanes were specifically requested
in a letter from the fire chief and so that's why we've added the condition above and beyond the
requirements not only of your code but of what NCDOT would require. To go above and beyond to
provide things that we have heard from the community that they would like to see.

Delores Bailey: Okay. And I'm just speaking from a comment that was sent to us. That there were some
concerns about a left turn from this.

Beth Trahos: Yes, ma'am.

Lamar Proctor: Okay. All right. Thank you.

Statler GiIfillen: Both the landscaping and septic system. I'm an architect, and I've dealt with a lot of septic
systems. They've controlled what we can do on many sites. So, I'm a little bit concerned. You
said that four of the sites have been tested already. You've done the peres on them?

David Barcal: No, so there's been a preliminary analysis done on the whole site.

Statler GiIfillen: But no formal peres.
